And if you ever wondered how I invest, then here is in short what I do:

• I hold a diverse portfolio for the long term (7+ years).
• I Dollar Cost Average in the portfolio meaning I deposit additional funds regularly and just buy a fixed value of each asset with those funds.
• I rebalance the portfolio at a fixed interval.
• I use the available cash in the portfolio to swing trade currencies. (Results from these trades are excluded from the Investment Portfolio Backtest.)

The final back-test I came up with, and also the strategy I traded showed the following results on historical data throughout Jan. 2016 - Jul. 2023:

• Outperformance of the S&P500 by 50%
• Higher annualized returns
• Higher Sharpe and Sortino ratio
• Low market correlation! (0.36)

How I back-tested this investment strategy
